Privacy Policy

  • Document contents and file names are never sent to our servers
  • No accounts — a random install ID is used only to verify subscriptions
  • Ads are requested as non-personalized; no app tracking request
  • The camera is used only for scanning documents

Documents

Ttukttak opens, converts and edits the files you choose on this device. Document editing, conversion and text recognition (OCR) also run on the device. Document contents and file names are not sent to our servers.

The library list, file copies and unsaved edit drafts stay in the app’s storage. You can remove them at any time in the app, and they are deleted when you delete the app.

Files are shared or sent to other apps only when you choose to do so.

Camera and document scanning

iPhone: camera permission is requested only when you start a document scan. Scanned pages are processed on the device only.

Android: Ttukttak does not request camera permission. The scanning screen is provided by the Google Play services document scanner module (ML Kit), and Play services may download the module on first use. Ttukttak does not send scanned pages to our servers. Google’s documentation: developers.google.com/ml-kit

Photos are read only when you pick them in the system picker. Microphone, contacts and location permissions are not requested.

Ads (free users)

There are no ads for the first 7 days after first launch. After that, free users see Google AdMob banner ads and app-open ads. The launch ad is skipped when the app is opened with a file from another app.

Google AdMob processes device information, ad interactions and IP address (approximate location) to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. How Google uses data: policies.google.com

Ttukttak requests non-personalized ads and does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT). In regions that require consent, such as the EEA and UK, consent is collected first and can be changed under “Ad privacy choices” in Settings.

If you use “Report inappropriate ad” in Settings, the last ad’s ID, source and time are included in the email you send. Ad-Free subscribers are not shown ads.

Subscription verification

When you subscribe to Ad-Free, the store receipt (transaction ID, purchase token) and a random install ID created by the app are sent to our verification server (pyeobom-api.ezbuilder.app) to confirm with the App Store or Google Play.

We do not receive your name, email or payment details (each store handles payment). This data is kept as long as needed to check subscription status and is deleted on request.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 14.

Data deletion requests

Email builder.ez@gmail.com with the subject “Ttukttak data deletion”. Include your store order number (App Store receipt or Google Play order number GPA.…) and within 30 days we will delete the receipt, install ID and subscription status records on the verification server and reply.

File copies and settings on the device are deleted when you delete the app. Store billing records and AdMob data follow each company’s policies.
